SIVEP assistance on the north coast
We can help you with customs formalities and provide assistance with veterinary inspections.
Animal products, live animals and non-animal feedstuffs are subject to strict import controls to comply with the various French and European hygiene and food safety standards. The BIMS team is at your side to ensure that SIVEP controls run smoothly. And this year, our latest addition is our presence in Le Havre! BIMS now covers the whole of the north coast, from Dunkirk to Le Havre.
What are our SIVEP services?
All imports must be registered on the "TRACES" computer system. This is where BIMS comes in, to help you manage your files.
Working alongside your driver during inspections by SIVEP inspectors, we carry out the following tasks:
- Checking the information on the health certificate and transit documents
- Identify batches and check that they match the information on the certificate
- Sampling for analysis, taking temperatures, visual examination, systematically on live animals and more or less thoroughly on products depending on the level of risk.
