Preparation of transit documents (T1, T2, T2L)

Transit declarations are intended to facilitate the transport of goods and their free movement between two points in the same customs territory, in a foreign territory or in several different territories. They lead to a temporary suspension of customs duties and taxes applicable at the time of importation and are valid in the European Union countries and in third countries that have previously signed the Transit Convention.

BIMS issues several transit permits according to your needs :

T1 :

The Community transit procedure or customs document applies to the movement of non-Community goods or goods from the European Union. It suspends applicable duties and taxes until the goods are delivered and cleared in the EU.

T2 :

The internal Community transit procedure applies to Community goods consigned to the customs territory of the Union via a third country or territory, without the need to change its customs status. But also in trade with EFTA partners.

T2L :

This customs document is used in the European Union to certify the inter-European Community character of goods. The importing or exporting country and the receiving country must belong to the European Union (e.g. DOM).

Issuance of transit permits via the DELTA T application, formerly NCTS

BIMS is registered on the DELTA T Customs application, a new system in place following the redesign of the NCTS. These applications allow our customs declarants to issue and manage transport documents in an automated way between economic operators and customs offices. A major advantage to be taken into account in your logistics flow: faster validation by the Customs Computerised Transit System !
